Web of Science (WoS) is the world's best-known and best-used reference and bibliographic database. Its multidisciplinary materials cover all disciplines. It allows to measure the science metrics and discover the author references.
The three major areas of Web of Science: Arts & Humanities Citation Index, Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index.

The database indexes the following journals:

The steps are the following:
1. Go to the following page: https://www.webofscience.com/wos/alldb/basic-search
2. Under the "Institutional Sign In" section, select Hungarian Federation, eduID.hu from the list, then click the "Go" button.
3. Enter the name of our institution (Pécsi Tudományegyetem).
3. On the University of Pécs centralized identification page, enter your Neptun (EHA) code and its associated password. (You can change the language in the top right corner.)
4. Accept the data service.
A user account must be registered in the university network (IP address), which can be used remotely.
The steps are the following:
1. Register on the main page by clicking the 'Register' button in the top right corner.
2. After confirming the email address and the password, the registration is considered successful, enabling remote access.
3. For remote use, enter the data in the 'Registered Users Sign In' field on the page.
Note: Access is valid for 6 months, during or after this period, you must also enter the university network for extension; the 6-month countdown will resume at each entry.
