Databases help and remote access settings

Subscribed databases:

You can access to them from any computer of the university’s IP network or from home after setting up the proxy. (See below.)
First, go to the „Databases” menu, where you can see an EBSCO Discovery Service searchbox, below that you can find the alphabetic list of the databases. Click on the „Összes mutatása” and it will show you all the subscribed and free databases.

Remote access:
Go to this page.
There you have to select which browser do you use. Choose yours and it will navigate you to video tutorials (English subtitle is available) where you can see how can you set up the proxy service.
When it is done, you can access to every subscribed and free databases from your computer.
For this, you will need your valid library membership card, which you can get from any faculty library with registrating or renewing your existing library membership.
The system will ask your card's number and a password. Your default password is your date of birth in this format: MMDD. (If you were born on the 14th of May, your password is 0514.)
