I have been a citizen of the university since 2012, and I have stuck to this "position" ever since. First I never thought that sometime I would be able to say that I have been part of the University of Pécs for more than 10 years, and especially not that I would be able to move from the classroom to be an active member of the teaching staff. It is a great honour to be here and to teach the future generation as a young lecturer. For me, the university is a place where I can develop my creativity, where my ideas are supported and my work is helped, because it is important to educate our students for life and to introduce teaching methods that make learning an experience for them. The university environment, and the Faculty of Business and Economics is a place that supports innovative thinking, where ideas are encouraged, new doors open constantly, and my work is truly recognised. There is a lot of talent running around the halls and I think that if we can reach out to them and think with them, we can create an educational environment that is rich in experiences and that I am sure students will remember. The Faculty of Business and Sciences has been going along such a path, we can offer more and more opportunities, and it is difficult to "leave" the Faculty, because many people want to create value for themselves within its walls and be part of its development - I am one of them.
I think it is good to be a university citizen in Pécs because the city offers a vibrant and inspiring environment where almost everyone can find their own paths and goals. The creative environment supports our ideas which, like tiny sparks, swell into a campfire for a common goal or even within a community, and it also helps to realise what can support the development and progress of the university.
