My fascination with the University of Pécs started when I was in high school, on a trip to Pécs. I remember walking through the university faculties and I was fascinated by the majestic old buildings and, of course, the city and the bustle of students. It was at this point when I decided that I wanted to come and live here.

My dream has come true. I studied here, I was a boarding student here and now I live here with my family and work at the university I have fallen in love with.

I have been working at the Faculty of Pharmacy for 6 years. I first became a member of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and then I was given a chance to help with the research work at the Department of Pharmacology. Here I have the opportunity to participate in most work processes and to develop my skills through constant learning. My work is varied. I mainly perform instrumental analyses using high-performance liquid chromatography techniques, but I also enjoy assisting in in vivo experiments and sample preparation. In addition, most of the material procurement, maintenance and administration related to the laboratories are also part of my tasks. This varied and busy work helps to keep me motivated, but the real treasure is the team I work with.

I consider myself lucky because I do not only earn my living at the faculty, but I also work in a supportive, loving environment where I can count on my colleagues for anything. I have met wonderful, brilliant people who are dedicated to the development of our faculty and who teach and educate students to the best of their abilities so that they can also become excellent professionals. Their loyalty, perseverance and hard work set an excellent example for me.

We are a small faculty, but it can be a great strength, as we almost all know each other, and there is nothing more effective than personal communication. I am also grateful for my friends who are amazing people, and I have met all of them here at our faculty.
