I decided to study at the University of Pécs in 2008, the year I graduated from high school. I really liked the city and I wanted to study in a town close to my hometown, Kaposvár. I became a BA student in history at the Faculty of Humanities the same year, and I started my MA in teacher of history and geography in 2012. I graduated as a history and geography teacher in 2015. During my studies, I received excellent professional knowledge from my lecturers, many of whom are renowned researchers, authors or journal editors. I am happy to have had the opportunity to learn from historians such as Tibor Grüll, Péter Hahner, László Katus and Péter Vargyas.
I first came to the various institutions of the University of Pécs Practice Primary School, Secondary School and Kindergarten as a student for teacher observation and teaching practice, and later I was given the opportunity to work here. I have been working as a history teacher at the University of Pécs Practice Secondary School, formerly known as the Mihály Babits Secondary School since October 2015. I have been helping the school as a teacher and a form teacher, and I have recently had the privilege of being a mentor teacher for several teacher training students, which is a great honour for me. In my day-to-day work, I can work in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere both with my colleagues and with the school management. Due to my job, I have been able to go on several trips and training courses abroad, and my students have enriched the reputation of the University of Pécs schools in several competitions.
Most importantly for me, it was during my university studies that I met my wife, with whom I am now the happy parent of two children.
