Medicine as a career is loved by all, feared by some, and pursued by few. I am among the lucky few who studies the great science of medicine, specifically in a beautiful, nurturing, and enlightening environment such as Pécs

The beginning of my educational life in PTE was a difficult journey. During this period, I failed in navigating the academic and social spheres of life. However, through this experience, I learnt to assess those choices that lead to failure and cultivated the ability to make informed decisions to facilitate my success.

I consider it important to be involved in the community, which is why I appreciate the diverse student body present in PTE. This allows for communities made by and for the students such as African Caribbean society Pécs (ACS). A society open to all students of PTE faculties, to experience our culture, traditions, and knowledge. This diversity created a small piece of home away from home and encourages intermingling of students from various faculties promoting a more unified student body.

Apart from the student body, I have gathered professional knowledge through my work as a demonstrator in Sell Yourself! – creating PowerPoint presentations and posters. Here I hone my public speaking and computer operation skills, in addition to medical knowledge. Thus, why I value the professionals PTE employs. Doctors, Professors and University staff who are intelligent, empathetic, and invested in the work of elevating and catering to all students’ future careers.

Hungary was a name I heard in the good old joke ‘’Are you hungry? because you are from Hungary?’ Now, it has become a place where I have been able to realize and embody the next greater version of myself.
