From Monday to Saturday, between 18:00 and 24:00, traditional library services will be unavailable. During this time, visitors may only stay on the 2nd floor.
On Sundays, from 10:00 AM to midnight, library services are suspended throughout the entire building, and visitors are only allowed on the 2nd floor.
On Sundays, the Storage request service is suspended. Remote storage requests for documents to be borrowed can be made in advance from home, available from Monday to Saturday.
On the 2nd floor of the building, readers have access to study areas and private study booths. Self-service checkout is available via the automated loan machines. Book returns can be made at the automated device on the ground floor, to the right of the Registration area.
During the extended hours, our traditional library services are suspended, only studying is possible.
Only registered readers or daily ticket holders - with a purchased daily ticket during Registration opening hours (Mon-Fri: 8:00 - 17:30; Sat: 10:00 - 17:30) - can stay on the 2nd floor of the Knowledge Center.
Students of the University of Pécs can enter the library area with a valid student ID card if they do not have a daily ticket or reader's ticket.
During the extended hours, the southern entrance from the parking lot will be closed, so readers can access the library areas through the northern main entrance.
It is not allowed to bring food into the library and eat there. Eating is only allowed outside the library premises, in the designated area for this purpose.
The cloakroom will not be operational during the extended hours.
During the opening hours before the extended hours (Mon-Fri: 8:00 am - 18:00; Sat: 10:00 - 18:00), library services can be used as usual, meaning - if not already done - you can register, loan books, reserve books, extend the loan period in person, return books, request interlibrary loans, initiate storage requests, or ask librarians for assistance.
