XXV. International-Hungarian Photo Salon – Opening at the Knowledge Centre 

We cordially invite all interested visitors to the official opening of the Transdanubian collection of the XXV. International-Hungarian Photo Salon of the World Federation of Hungarian Photographers. The exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to gain insight into contemporary Hungarian photography and discover the finest works by artists from the Carpathian Basin. The exhibition features 45 photographs selected by a professional jury, presenting our cultural heritage and the reality experienced by the artists across six categories. 

The exhibited works are organised around six thematic groups: 

• - General themes 

• - Life and work of Mór Jókai 

• - The Reform Era and its impact on the Carpathian Basin 

• - Aquatic wildlife 

• - Archaic works 

• - Youth category 

Opening 

Date: Tuesday, 9 June 2026, 17:00 

Location: University of Pécs Library and Knowledge Centre, ground floor (7622 Pécs, Universitas u. 2/A) 

Tamás Fekete, Vice President of the Pannon Region of the World Federation of Hungarian Photographers, will open the exhibition.
