Paying debts online

Paying debts towards the library and returning documents

You can check your debts and unreturned books on the “Corvina Catalog” (WebPac) interface in the Reader’s data menu, and then initiate an online payment process. For this, you need your credit card information. Unfortunately, the readers of the Faculty of Health Sciences (Szombathely) Library cannot use online payment.

Attention!

The library debt can only be paid online if the book has already been returned to our library.

The process of online payment

• Log in to the catalog: Corvina

• Enter your Patron data (Reader data): Patron’s bar code (which is your library card number) and password.

• In order to settle your debts, click the section “Bills” of the “Finances” tab, or you can choose the tab “My Libraries” where you can find a list of your loaned books and the debts incurred in the given faculty library. You can also start the online payment process from here.

• Tick the box in front of the amount you want to pay.

• After clicking the button "Pay by card", a pop-up window appears with a warning message. Once you accept it, it redirects you to the interface of OTP Bank.

• Enter the required data.

• Click the “Payment” button.

Please be patient until the system automatically redirects you back to the interface of the library catalog after the successful transaction. If you do not wait for the redirection, the amount may be deducted from your bank account, but your debts will not be canceled in the library system.

Neptun-Corvina

If you have any fines or unreturned books in the university library, the library can put a block on your Neptun account that may restrict your application for the exams and the registration and enrollment process at the beginning of the next semester from 10 November, 2021. Upon logging in, a pop-up window warns you about this on Neptun as well.

You can settle your debts in person (in the faculty library in which the debt was incurred) or online.

You can find up-to-date information regarding the documents you have loaned in your Reader’s Data account. Also, the expiration date of your loaned books can be checked in Reader’s Data here.

When can Neptun block you?

• If you have a library book loan that expired 20 days ago

or

• If you have a debt of more than HUF 2,000

or

• If the debt does not exceed HUF 2,000, but 60 days have passed since the debt was incurred

What should I do if I notice late in the evening, during applying for an exam that I have library debts?

The Neptun blocking exists until you settle your debt. The update between the library system and the Neptun is done every day at 10.30 pm.

If the library debt prevents the applying for an exam, you need to pay the debt online, and then you can update the system on the following website:
