The university, even if it changes, means permanence for me. It has been here all my life. As a child, we accompanied my father for his doctoral hooding ceremony to the university. Later, I also made an attempt to get a degree at the Faculty of Business and Economics. Finally, I was able to "jump" into the start-up University Archives from a casual job in the law library.

I have been a citizen of the university since 2012, and I have stuck to this "position" ever since. First I never thought that sometime I would be able to say that I have been part of the University of Pécs for more than 10 years, and especially not that I would be able to move from the classroom to be an active member of the teaching staff.

When I first entered the university's Szántó Kovács János Street building in September 2010, as a freshman at the then Faculty of Adult Education and Human Resources Development, I had strange thoughts: 'Is the university really that important in one's life? It is only three years, shorter than high school!"

As a "tüke" (a native to Pécs), it has always been important to me that one of the largest universities in the country is located here, and it offers high-quality courses and, due to its students, a vibrant university life. This, to a great extent, determines the atmosphere of our city and the sense of life that pervades our everyday life.
